Camp Interns

  *PAID POSITION*

Summer Camp Counselors are paid young adults who are at least 18 years old and willing to dedicate a month of their summer to learning, leading, and growing at Camp Caney during Pre-camp, Elementary Camp, and Jr. High Camp. You’ll work under the direction of the Camp Manager and Camp Director. Before camp, you’ll attend counselor training. During camp, you’ll care for campers them physically, emotionally, and spiritually as they play together, learn together, and grow together.

  • Staff Training​: May 28-30, 2024
  • Pre-Camp 1: ​May 31 (8 a.m.) – June 2 (1 p.m.)
  • Pre-Camp 2: June 7 (8 a.m.) – June 9 (1 p.m.)
  • Elementary Camp​: June 10 (8 a.m.) – June 14​ (1 p.m.)
  • Jr./Sr. High Camp​: June 17 (8 a.m.) – June 21 (1 p.m.)

Adult Volunteers

Adult volunteers give a week of their summer to spiritually nurture campers at Caney Camp. You must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check to volunteer as an adult. Responsibilities include staying in a cabin with campers, supervising campers, and making sure campers get to and from activities. To apply, fill out the Adult Volunteer Application form below. We will contact you as soon as possible and keep you updated throughout the background check process.

Counselors in Training

Counselors in Training (C.I.Ts), junior counselors between the age of 15 and 18, volunteer a week of their summer to spiritually nurture campers at Caney Camp. To serve as a C.I.T., you must be in high school or college. You must attend one Saturday training prior to camp. To apply, fill out the CIT Application form below. We will contact you as soon as possible and keep you updated throughout the background check process.
